MALAAI PEDA

Ingredients:

Milk                  -    1/2 cup
Milk powder     -     1 cup
sugar                 -     1/3 cup
Ghee                 -     4 spoons
Cashew/pista     -     10

Procedure:

In a pan add 2 spoons of ghee,milk and milk powder.
Stir continuously until the mixer leaves from the sauce pan. approximately 8 to 10 minutes.

Leave it from flame and allow it to cool.

After that add powdered sugar with the mixer.
Make small balls and press it between two palms.
Garnish it with cashews and pista's.


MASOOR , SPINACH DAL RECIPE

Ingredients:

masoor dal      -    1 cup
Spinach           -    20 leaves
Onion              -    1 medium size
Tomato            -    2
Garlic cloves    -     10
For tempering:
Oil                   -    3  spoons
Mustard seeds -     1 spoon
Cumin seeds     -     1 spoon
Curry leaves     -     1 arc
Coriander leaves-    garnishing

Procedure:

Soak masoor dal for 10 minutes and pressure cook it with turmeric powder and water.
clean spinach leaves. peal off garlic cloves and slice it.
heat the sauce pan and add tempering items, after splutter add,all the ingredients except dal.
Mash cooked dal and add it to the same sauce pan .
If needed add some water. and garnish with coriander leaves.
this is a great side dish for chappathi,and idli.

chappathi,vege roll



Ingredients:

wheat flour        -      1 cup
carrot                -      1
onion                 -      1
cabbage            -       1/4 cup(chopped)   
capsicum           -       1/4 cup(chopped)
salt                    -       1 spoon
pepper powder  -      1 spoon  (or)
 green chilly        -      2 chopped
oil  or ghee         -      10 spoons

Procedure:

In a bowl add, wheat flour,salt and make it as chappathi dough.
Add 2 spoons of oil or ghee, in a pan and fry all chopped vegetables with salt and pepper.
Make small dumplings in chappathi dough and make it as small poories..
Add 1 spoon of fried vegetables in poori and fold it . grease the corner with ghee. 
In a wide pan or dosa pan add 6 spoons of oil and shallow fry the vegetable rolls.
This is quick,healthy and easy snake item for kids...

Ladies finger fry

Ingredients :

Ladies finger  (venda kaai)  -  20 nos
Gram flour                          -   4 spoons
Rice flour                            -   1 spoon
Corn flour                           -   1 spoon
Chilly powder                      -   1 spoon
Salt                                     -    1 spoon
Oil                                      -   1 cup

Procedure :

Mix gram flour,rice flour,corn flour,chilly powder  and salt with little bit of water.
Cut ladies finger into small pieces. 
And add ladies finger pieces with flour mixer.
Deep fry it in oil. Keep it in air tight container.
This is a tasty and crunchy side dish for  all rice  recipes. 


PANEER 65

Ingredients:

Paneer                   -     1 cup   (20 small cubes)
All purpose flour    -      5 spoons
Chilly powder        -      1 spoon
Salt                        -      as per taste
Oil                         -      1 cup
Orange food colour-      1 pinch(optional)

Procedure :

Shallow fry  paneer.
Mix all purpose flour,chilly powder and salt and make it as smooth paste.
Add little bit of water with food colour and mix it with flour paste.
Dip fried paneer in this paste and deep fry it in oil.
Serve it with tomato ketchup.

AVAL KESARI



Ingredients:

Aval          -    1 cup
sugar         -    1 1/2 cup
milk           -     1/2 cup
ghee          -    4 spoons
Cashews    -    10
Dry grapes -   10

Procedure:

soak aval for 15 minutes.
Dry the water and grind it in mixie with milk.
Add this paste in a pan with sugar and 2 spoons of ghee.
After 5 minutes of cooking remove from flame.
In a small pan, add ghee ,cashews and dried grapes and mix it with kesari.
If you want kesari in red colour add food colour with a spoon of water.
